Executive summary

The cooperation between Impressit and Mule began after the recommendation of our other client, ESOOKO. We helped Mule to create a web version of their service as well as to improve the existing iOS application. The Impressit team managed to become a reliable partner for Mule and complete all the tasks on time by being a flexible and reliable development partner.

Mule is a company from London with the goal of making the delivery process more affordable and convenient as well as paying attention to the environment. Mule’s founders understand the pains and challenges that resellers and small business owners experience, so they decided to help them by making shipping easier and cheaper.

Challenges and objectives

First of all, the Impressit team polished the iOS application; namely, the Impressit team improved the back end of the app. We ensured that the application’s performance is stable and fast also keeping in mind the functionality and responsiveness. Impressit also paid the utmost attention to the app’s security.

 

Second, we developed the Mule web application from scratch. At a certain moment, before the web application was ready, we came up with an interesting solution — the user could form a parcel for shipment in the web application but process the payment through the mobile application. It was a very convenient solution for certain users before we released all the functionalities of the web app.

 

Also, the Impressit team helped Mule with their existing website to make slight improvements and corrections.

At the moment, the Impressit team fully manages the backend part of the project and works on its continuous improvement. Impressit also created detailed and well-written documentation that would help all the engineers to work with the system more efficiently. 

Despite the acquisition of Alertive Healthcare, the Impressit team keeps on working on the app. The next step of our cooperation is the improvement of the existing system, considering all the existing issues and pitfalls.
